For one of my classes this year we have to take apart a car engine and analyze all the forces and stresses on it. We got a straight 4 cylinder with a single overhead cam from a honda civic. Our first part is the cam shaft. So our group got an engine and yesterday we took it apart enough to get the cam shaft out. We took off all the screws that were holding it together, but it still wouldn't come apart. We ended up using a hammer to pry it apart!
