Mom and I went to Apple Hill with Jessie and Heidi, for part of Jessie's 23rd Birthday! We had a lot of fun and bought 5 gallons of the famous apple cider. While mom was shopping for the apple cider and apple pies, Heidi and I tried some of the apple wine. It wasn't as sweet as we thought it would be and didn't taste a thing like apples. But I guess wine doesn't taste like grapes either! It was such a fun and festive way to start off the Holiday Season :)
On our way to Apple Hill, along side the road we saw a heard of cows. One of the calfs was nursing from his mother. It was so neat to be so close to them. They were only about 10 feet away!
While we were touring the various Apple Farms and craft booths, we found one that had an Emu. This Emu acted just like a puppy. She was laying under her human mom and at one point even tried to cuddle up to her face. She was a very cute Emu, regarless of her HUGE claws and strong beak!
